Here is a behind-the-scenes peek at my life as a bridal store owner, crystal-lover, and serial entrepreneur with an addiction to matcha lattés and Boston Terriers.
When we first started going to New York for bridal market, I was generally wearing dresses or other fancier things. Now, after eight years, you will usually find me in jeans and some form of mostly black. Which, let’s be honest, really isn’t much of a change from my regular wardrobe. That’s why every single item on my list of favorites is something that I will wear over and over again. And I think you will too. Here are just a few of my New York Market favorites!
These jeans are literally the perfect jeans, and they’re 64 bucks! I haven’t found a pair of jeans that I have liked this much since I worked at Neiman Marcus almost ten years ago. Those were the days I was able to buy $200 jeans for $50, and I really haven’t felt the need to branch out since then, I mean, why would I? Until now. I bought these jeans during the N-Sale this year and I haven’t looked back. I think I have at least three pairs now, and I wear them every single day (any day, that is, that I am not wearing yoga pants.)
The little booties are so comfortable, especially for such a high heel, and don’t even get me started on the leather jacket. I fully intended to return this jacket when I ordered it online until I actually put it on and then I knew there was no going back. The leather is so buttery and it is so flattering that it has ended up being one of my favorite pieces of clothing that I own. Anyway, a lot of people ask me every year what I am going to wear to New York, so I thought it would be fun to give you guys a peek!
